Lack of land, lack of capital, less returns………………blah blah blah form the long list of reasons given for the dismal involvement of the youth in Agriculture. How can we venture in farming when we don’t have capital and land? One youth asked in one of the conferences I was attending recently.

While concurring with these sentiments, I would like to make some proposals on how we can start getting more from the little we have in terms of resources. The secret lies in embracing technology. There are technologies I have observed and am fully convince if we embrace them we can take agriculture to the next level.

2These three technologies are economical and can be practiced by even those who have small lands. In terms of resource consumption, they are efficient. What do you say? Add your comments on this post bellow.
